Visual Merchandising Students Compete In Store Design MAY 18, 2006
Laboratory Institute of Merchandising (LIM), New York, hosted a competition for design students to develop a store design located in an urban or mall center featuring a name, fixture design, visual merchandising and merchandising concepts. Visual merchandising experts from companies such as Macy's, Polo Jeans and Cartier were on hand to do the judging. LIM student, Trevor Steels, had the winning concept built around a "green" design that emphasized minimalism and accessibility. For his achievement he received a laptop with Visual Retailing software. http://www.limcollege.edu/html/currentaboutmedianews_20.htm
